Message from the Dean

Valerio C. Ferme, Dean, McMicken College of Arts and Sciences

Dear students, parents, faculty and staff,

The past few days have awakened us to a different world from the one with which we have grown familiar. The spread of COVID-19 throughout the world has forced us, as a university community, to undertake a reorganization of our study and workspaces that is unprecedented in recent history. We understand that this situation is frustrating, concerning, and disruptive. Yet, we humbly ask you to be patient as we reorganize and respond to the best of our abilities to your immediate needs.

Know that, as never before, we are dedicated to our mission of going the extra step to find the answers that can help all of us to weather these disruptions successfully.

On these pages, please find more information and links to resources that might answer your questions and concerns. We will update them as more information becomes available.

With regard and be well,
