The department's core facilities and equipment are available to researchers worldwide, and a fee list for specific services can be found at the web site for each facility. Where necessary, instruction and assistance in using the instrumentation are available.

The Oesper Collections in the History of Chemistry is a research-level collection containing over 7,000 journals and 10,000 monographs from the late 16th to mid-20th century.
