Undergraduate Fellowships and Scholarships
The department offers a number of competitive fellowships, scholarships and awards to deserving undergraduates who are enrolled as a chemistry major at UC. Typically, these awards are announced annually at the end of the academic year during the Hoke and Stella Greene Awards Day Ceremony within the department. Examples of the financial awards available include:
- The Henry Storch Award to the Senior Chemistry Major with the highest average in subjects outside the major area
- The M. Brayton Graff Senior Scholarship to an outstanding junior majoring in chemistry
- The Lubrizol Scholarship based on academic achievement/potential for tuition to a junior or senior chemistry major
- The Stella Potter and Hoke S. Greene Tuition Scholarships based on grade point average above 3.0 to one junior and one senior chemistry major
- The Thomas E. Senior Scholarship to an undergraduate chemistry major showing great promise
In addition to departmental awards and fellowships, qualified students are encouraged to apply for external scholarships and fellowships in the field of Chemistry. A few of the more noteworthy resources are listed below:
