c. other non-traditional ‘polished’ texts (websites, reflections, comics, curated portfolios, etc.)

b. How did you approach the assignment (the composing process)?

a. your full name, M-number, and contact information
b. the class, in which you completed the submitted work (ENGL 099, 1001, or 2089);
c. the semester when this work was completed (Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Fall 2024, or Spring 2025)
d. the name of your English Professor, in whose class this work was completed
Please submit all materials as ONE ATTACHMENT to your submission email.
Where to submit? Please submit all materials to ucompwritingcontest@ucmail.uc.edu
When are submissions due? Submissions are due by May 5, 2025 in order to be considered for publication on the Writing Showcase website during the 2025-2026 academic year.
What can students expect after submission? Submissions will be reviewed by the Writing Showcase Planning Committee, which is a group of English department faculty from Clifton, Blue Ash, and Clermont. Students will be notified via email by the end of Summer 2025 if their materials have been accepted for publication, if any further materials are needed, and when they can expect their materials to go live on the website. Students will not need to be physically present for an in-person or an online synchronous event.
Publication information will be shared for students to highlight on their resume or CV!
