Scholarships and Fellowships

Each year the department awards two undergraduate prizes at its annual Fenneman Memorial Banquet. The Cincinnatus Prize, sponsored by the Cincinnatus Association of Cincinnati, is awarded to the most outstanding graduating geography senior. Selection for the Cincinnatus Award is by faculty nomination.

The Geography Centennial Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding junior or senior geography major who has displayed both high levels of achievement in the major and has contributed to the mission of the undergraduate GeoCats Club in a significant manner. Juniors and senior are informed of the scholarship on March 1 and have until April 1 to apply. Applications are available from the director of the undergraduate geography program and are returned 401 Braunstein Hall.
