Department of Geosciences Career Days Seminar
The fifth annual Department of Geosciences Career Days was held September 12-13, 2019. This event gives geology undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to connect with departmental alumni who come from various facets of academia and industry and gain an understanding of opportunities in the field of geology post-graduation. An alumni mentoring program has also been established providing interested geology students who are ready to start their professional careers with an outside perspective on navigating the workforce.
Future Career Days events are in the planning, after some disruption due to COVID-19. Stay tuned.
