Honors and High Honors

Departmental Honors

Department honors are awarded to outstanding majors who graduate with the required major GPA. With department honors, undergraduates are eligible to wear special yellow honors cords at the commencement ceremony.

Journalism Honors

  • High Honors in Journalism: Given to Journalism majors who graduate with a Journalism major GPA of 3.7 or higher.
  • Honors in Journalism: Given to Journalism majors who graduate with a Journalism major GPA of 3.3 or higher.
