Financial Support

The University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees prohibits guarantees of financial support for more than one academic year at a time. However, it is our intention to ensure that our students who are making appropriate progress continue to receive financial support, and the department has never failed to do so in the past forty years. Students are supported by teaching assistantships, research assistantships or clinical traineeships. There are also competitive summer placements, research fellowships, and opportunities to teach summer school. In addition to a monthly stipend, graduate students completing required coursework receive a University Graduate Scholarship that covers the cost of tuition and some fees.
