Financial Support- Advanced Taft Scholarship

The Department of Romance and Arabic Languages and Literatures considers the following factors when recommending graduate students for the Advanced Taft Fellowship

• Progress toward the PhD degree (as documented by the time taken before preliminary examinations and the number of incomplete grades, etc.)
• The dissertation proposal (as outlined in the application for the grant)
• Eligibility. Candidates must be within the total number of credits/years for University support. Candidates may not apply for a second Advanced Taft Fellowship.
