MA in French and Francophone Studies Track

-Offers a broad preparation in literature, culture and cultural studies, and film studies

-Prepares students for continued studies at the doctoral level or for a variety of alternative careers in translation, business, government, or education

Required Courses (8 cr) 
RLL 7051 Teaching Methods
RLL 7010 Introduction to Literary Criticism

Plus a minimum of 5 courses in French or Francophone literature, film, and culture. A list of past and current course offerings is available here. 

Students in the Pedagogy track must pass an M.A. exam that covers both the Pedagogy Reading list and a reduced literature reading list (see Handbook).
