Course Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 42 total credit hours in major coursework
  2. A minimum of 12 credit hours at the 4000-level or above in major coursework 
  3. A minimum GPA of 2.0 in major coursework

Students must complete:

  • Category A: Take 3 Communication Core Courses | 09 credit hours
  • Category B: Choose 1 Research Methods Course | 03 credit hours
  • Category C: Take 7 Public Relations Core Courses | 21 credit hours
  • Category D: Choose 1 Communication Elective | 03 credit hours
  • Category E: Choose 1 Mediated Communication Elective | 03 credit hours
  • Category F: Choose 1 Diversity & Inclusion / Ethics Elective | 03 credit hours
  • Category G: Choose 1 minor or certificate to complement the Public Relations BA degree
