Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD)
Sociology majors of at least junior standing (and other such students who demonstrate a serious interest in sociology) who have:
- Completed at least four regular sociology courses
- Maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher in this course work
- an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
are eligible for induction into AKD, the International Sociology Honorary Society. Interested students should submit their names in writing to the director of undergraduate studies for consideration no later than the last Friday of January.
