Sociology Organization of Students (SOS)

Did you know that there is an organization at the University of Cincinnati for you? The purpose of SOS is to provide connections for undergraduate students of sociology. SOS is for your benefit and you are invited to help shape the organization. Please come to the meetings and share your ideas. Through involvement and participation in SOS you can gain leadership experience, a valuable tool for success upon graduation.

SOS has several goals:

  1. To provide a network for students who share common goals and interest.
  2. To provide students with helpful tools to pursue graduate school or professional careers.
  3. To familiarize undergraduate sociology students with department faculty, graduate students and events.
  4. To provide undergraduate sociology students opportunities to participate in community service projects.
