Giving
In every academic unit of the College of Arts and Sciences, gifts enable us to better serve our students, faculty and entire college community. They help support a wide array of programs and services, including undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships. The following are the greatest needs by the School of Public and International Affairs:
- Scholarships
- Fellowships
- Professorships
You can make a gift online now by visiting the UC Foundation website.

Due to the generosity of former UC SPIA professor Howard Tolley and his wife Nina, students are able to travel abroad to conduct research on human rights issues. Our most recent Tolley award winner met with Professor Tolley for lunch to talk about her experience. Emma Hess, volunteered at refugee camp in Thailand in the summer of 2023. She is a double Neurobiology and Spanish major, class of 2024, working in free health clinic and pursuing public health dental hygienist career.
