Foreign Language Substitution Policy
Students in groups below will be able to choose between completing 10-12 hours of a foreign language or completing 12 credit hours of additional SCE coursework in English from a foreign language department:
- Africana Studies
- Classics
- German Studies
- Judaic Studies
- Romance and Arabic Languages and Literature
Student Groups:
- For students as determined by Accessibility Resources Office
- For students transferring to Interdisciplinary Studies degree with >60 credit hours. (Excludes DMC, INP, PPHM, SJ, and Law and Society)
- Students transferring 30 or more credit hours into A&S online degrees
