Academic Misconduct Process and Procedures

CONSEQUENCES OF ACADEMIC MISCONDUCT

It is your responsibility as a student to become familiar with the Student Code of Conduct, definitions of Academic Misconduct, consequences of your actions, and your rights as a student. When you are notified about an alleged violation, professors may recommend the following but are not limited to:

  • Failure for the course
  • Failure or reduced grade on a test, paper, project
  • Completion of a Decision-Making Seminar

PROCEDURES

  • Prior to signing and submitting the notification form to the professor, you should contact Director Academic Advising, Kevin Ploeger ploegekn@ucmail.uc.edu to learn more about the consequences and other procedures
